Time After Time/Soap World

Some times there are things that must be said that just don't.  I am not quite sure why but I am happy I don't have much of a filter so I can just open up and let words go as freely as they must.  That is partly why I call myself Catty because some may think I come off as being such but hey it is my opinions and how I express them is with a fair amount of passion because I love my soaps.

Anywho lets get started on what I have to say now.  I know a lot of people still do not like Annie and that is your choice and I know there are some that think Ryan walks on water.  again that is your choice.  Me honestly I didn't always like Annie but when she became a badass brunette bitch that didn't lie down and take crap from anyone I became the biggest fan.  When ryan came back to town and owned Cambius all up til he started dating Madison I couldn't stand his face.  I still wish the show didn't revolve around CM but what can I do about that.  Back to the point I am trying to make here though a lot of the Annie fans and Ryan fans are still going on about which one did what to who and why they aren't good for Emma.  It was always my opinion that neither one needed to be parents to that girl but I recently read one obvious Ryan fan state some thing Annie and her "revolving door of men" around Emma.  Sure annie has had some relationships since Ryan dumed her shamelessly and with no remorse but have we forgotten Ryan's revolving door of women.  Sure Annie bounced from Aidan to Adam to JR and Scott but one thing is she stuck with Chandler a lot.  Ryan went Greenlee to one nighter with Kendall to Erica to Madison and I bet since I am not in charge back to Greenlee and Annie kept her sexcapades in a room or hotel unlike Ryan who had themm all right in the livingroom where Emma coulda walked down at any moment and said "daddy what are you doing to that lady?" 

Know what OLTL needs since they decided to take Evangeline off life support and kill her character off she won't be back and siince Tika has decided to go recurring therefore we won't see much of Layla they should really start pushing up Vivian some so we can have an AA strong woman around to fill the void play her and Shaun up more and their road to falling in love.  Also I do not like the idea of the show trying to push Kelly and Rex together.  He is not interesting enough of a character and will drag her down.  Besides if she and Todd were to get a little closer it would spare us from having to go through Todd and Blair part a zillion.

While I have this on my mind I wanna know what happen to soaps being refered to as love in the afternoon?  Once upon a time I was younger when this happen and probably didn't have much business looking at this stuff but love scenes were the stuff women dreamed of they were what gave us our own little fantasies.  Now sex on a soap is either during a commercial break in Ryan's living room or if your Brooke very quickly against a wall for 30 seconds of a song.  What happen to candles and roses and the actors being in the bed and the kissing and embracing and seeing the passion the characters had for each other.  I like JR and Annie and when they fiinally get it right I want a real love scene.  I like Jason and Sam but all their love scenes are go up stairs and after the commercial or Carly ranting about protecting Michael cuz she doesn't care that much about her other kids we see Jason fully dressed down stairs and Sam comes pulling at her clothes just as someone has knocked on and barged through Jason's door.  My point is bring love back to the afternoon or at least good love making.
