Time After Time/Soap World

In daytime you cannot have any issues without someone causing the problems most of the time.  Maybe you have something or someone they want. Maybe they lost something and they feel you are to blame. Maybe you have done something to them in the past either intentionally or by mistake.  Maybe you were not there for them when they felt they needed you.  Maybe it is not about you.  Whatever the case someone is on your back and is out seeking revenge.  Wanting to take everything from you and make you suffer.  That's what it takes to be a villainess and a villain for that matter. 

When it comes to African American's there has not been a long history of bad women on the television screens.  For the most part African American women have been played as nice and mostly moralistic females.  Yet in reality we know that women in general can range from being very good to very bad. Just depends on the situation. 

Yet there have been a few over the last 3 decades that made their way to our favorite fictional cities and plotted, schemed, and participated in bad acts of distaste, desperation, pain, anger and/or a need to control.    

In the latest top 5 list we celebrate and remember 5 women who were bad to the bone.   

4. Doreen Jackson, Generations

Crimes Comitted

• Had an affair with best-friend Ruth Marshall's son Adam Marshall out of jealousy that her friend was living better than she was and later became pregnate with Adams child a secret she plotted to keep until the right moment.
  
• Hooked up with the very successful Daniel Reubens in order to be taken care of and to spite his daughter Maya Reubens who was her sworn enemy after Maya blackmailed her into staying away from Adam. 
• Plotted to destory Ruth's marriage to Henry Marshall by putting idea's in Henry and Vivan (Ruth's mother) about Ruth's rekindled friendship with Peter Witmore an older man who had once seduced Ruth when she was a teen. This was a secret only Doreen and Vivan knew. 
  
• Doreen pretended to be a shoulder to cry on for Henry who was upset that Ruth was going to sing at the jazz club Peter owned and that she herself had invested in, all so she could lure Henry into having an affair which almost happened.

3. Elizabeth "Liz" Sabourne, Passions

Crimes Comitted

• Shot Julian Crane at the Crane cannery.
• Slipped T.C. a mickey.
• Accused Eve of trying to kill her.
• Attempted to murder Julian.
• Poisoned Alistair Crane's cigar.
• Knifed Alistair then tried to smother him.
• Pulled the plug on Alistair and tried to kill him.

2. Virginia Harrison, Sunset Beach

Crimes Comitted

• She learned that Vanessa's mother Lena had Martin's Syndrome, an illness which makes ones face deformed, and decided to play with Vanessa's mind by pretending to be a nurse at her mother's hospital.
  
• Virginia made up a sick plan. She used a potion from Mrs. Moreau to make Vanessa think that she had the syndrome.
  
• Tried to kill Vanessa on Terror Island.
  
• On a wedding night of Vanessa and Michael's friends, Virginia impregnated Vanessa by putting Tyus Robinson's sperm into Vanessa by using a turkey baster. Virginia was finally happy because Michael left Vanessa, but when Vanessa miscarried, Virginia had finally lost it. She went crazy and ended up in Cedar Oaks hospital,forever.

1. Alexandra "Lexie" Carver-Dimera, Days Of Our Lives

Crimes Comitted

• Helped Jonah when he was the vigilante known as The Pacifist
• Kept the secret about how Marlo (the mother of the child she was going to adopt with the help of her father the evil Stefano Dimera) really died
• Kept quiet that Isaac (Abe and Lexie's adopted son) was actually Hope's biological child.
• Bribed/blackmailed lawyer Cameron Reese so that she could keep Isaac when Glenn (Isaac' biological father) and Barb came in search of his son. 
• Leaked information to the tabloids about Hope's past affair with John Black when hope thought she was Gina. 
• Plotted to unlock Hope's memories of Gina when Lexie was worried Hope was getting close to the truth about Isaac. 
• Attempted to leave the country with Isaac once the truth was out.
  
• Committed adultery with Brandon Walker while separated from and yet yet still married to Abe.  She kept the secret of her affair when she and Abe reconciled.
  
• Successful plotted to break Sami and Brandon up by secrectly tricking Sami into believing Brandon was the father of Lexie's child which caused Sami to switch the paternity results so Abe was the father.  Lexie revealed her ruse after she had Thoe.
  
• Committed adultery with Tek Kramer when Abe who had returned from the dead after he was "killed" by the Salem Stalker and was left losing his sight and was impetent.
  
• Tried to pass of Tek's testimony as her own when John Black was shot.
