A new film being produced and directed by websoap "The Bay's" Gregori J Martin here in New York for his Lanyfilms Productions. The film being filmed here in New York will star The Bay's Kristoff Andrews is based on 19 year old Robert Areizaga Jr. who was murdered in White Plains, New York at a party in the Fall of 2010 by a vicious gang. The story tells of Robert’s journey to turn his life around and become a New York police officer five months before his tragic death.
Gregori J Martin is an award winning, talented and intelligent writer, director and producer and has undertaken this story of his cousin Robert Areizaga. Robert was a native New Yorker born in Yonkers and a graduate of Gorton High School. He was in the process of finishing his schooling in Westchester Communitu College. He was killed in October of 2010 and left a hole in the heart of his cousin Gregori. It is in loving memory that THE SOUTHSIDE pays homage to the life of an extraordinary young man who will be greatly missed by many.
