Erika Slezak OLTL Queen 'V''s 40th Anniversary Show

Posted by MissNanse-SSI on April 28, 2011 at 11:39 AM Comments comments (0)

Recap? How can one recap Excellence and Brilliance and put into words a Tour De Force performance?

Well I cannot and will not but will tell you what I saw. Ms. Slezak played three characters today. Victoria Lord, Niki Smith and Jean Randolph. She filmed this phenomenal performance in two days. She transferred from Viki to Niki to Jean with expert precision, smooth and real. Tell me what soap has a performer as great as OLTL's Erika Slezak?

As you know Niki had taken over after the...

Teen Suicides spark soap actor comments

In a wonderful article by the Canadian TV Guide writer Nelson Branco a host of soap actors put their feelings into words for his column. It is time for the soaps to put aside their fear of backlash from homophobic viewers and take this from the headlines story and bring it to the forefront as only soaps can do.

This isn't usually my main blogging point and I dont even have a picture to post with this because I am not sure what picture to even post but I am so mad about this and I always say no one should hold that stuff in. I was reading where some of the soaps are having their casting calls and every one of them asked...

Spoilers helping us lose our soaps?

I was  watching Y&R today and I realized that what should have been a delightful surprise, who was marrying Billy and Victoria  was just a pleasant nod. Okay you say, many of us would ha...

Over the past month or so I find myself frustrated, aggrivated, annoyed, disgusted and wanting to fast forward a lot more than usual.

I do FF at times, mostly when there is too much violence and idiocy for me to take but now I am at the point where I am fed up with the writing, the same storylines being repeated over and over.
